Care+ and Secure HSA plans – Zion Health Plans Only

  • If you have a $1000 IUA, your IUA will increase to $1250 for 2026. If you have a medical need that commenced in 2025, it will be subject to your $1000 IUA.
  • You will be receiving notification of your 2026 price increases. We’re anticipating that rates will be increasing by 3 – 5%. Very modest increases as compared to what people will be experiencing with ACA Marketplace plans.

FOR ALL MEDICAL COST SHARING PLANS – IF YOU ARE TURNING 65 IN 2026, YOUR COST SHARING PLAN DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY END. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION SURVEY.

Health Access

Health Access will be ending their reimbursement plan at the end of this year. If you are a member, please take advantage of all the wonderful reimbursement benefits available to you by December 31, 2025.

You must file your claims for 2025 no later than February 28, 2026. Here is a copy of the brochure as a reminder of what you can claim.

LifeX

All members have an open enrollment period of November 1 – December 5th.  We are anticipating small price increases – between 3 – 5%.

During your open enrollment period, you can:

  • Change your plan or network
  • Add or remove family members
  • Change your deductible level
  • Keep your current plan

You will also have to complete your ADP paperwork if you haven’t as of yet. This is to ensure you get paid for any surveys you complete during the year.

Remember starting January 1st, 2026, your employment responsibilities get reset and you must complete at least one assessment/survey to keep your employment status in good standings.

New plans

  • LifeX Cigna EPO – low-deductible plans with unlimited usage for medical services. These plans use the Cigna PPO network.
  • Humana dental and vision plans

America’s Choice

60 days from the renewal date, you will be sent a notice from Detego Health advising you of your open enrollment period.

If you have an America’s Choice Million Dollar Plan, you must change plans upon your effective date. This plan will be discontinued and completely terminated for all members by September 30, 2026.

Because all America’s Choice plans are being discontinued, you must re-enroll in a new plan.

Our suggestion, if you can say No to all of these health questions, we would suggest moving you to LifeX Research plans. It is the same concept as the original America’s Choice; however these plans are available for all qualifying people, not just self-employed/1099 individuals.

If you cannot say No to the LifeX health questions, you should enroll in a similar Iron Health plan to renew your Population Science Management coverage and cancel your America’s Choice plan.

During your open enrollment period, you can:

  • Add or remove family members
  • Change your deductible level

 ACA Marketplace Plans

  • We are anticipating significant price increases for 2026 from most Marketplace carriers
  • There is still a chance the expanded subsidies will continue for 2026; however, we may not have a decision by November 1st.
  • For plans to take effect January 1st, your enrollment period is November 1st to December 15, 2025
  • There will be a window to enroll in a Marketplace plan between December 16 – January 15, 2026, for an effective date of February 1, 2026.
  • If you have a BannerAetna plan for 2025, you will automatically be changed to a different carrier with a similar plan. We were not told which carrier that will be, so their network may be a deciding factor to stay on that plan or not.
  • Because of the potential change in your premiums, it may be a good idea to schedule a 60-minute call with Cindy Gordon in November to see if there are better options for you and your family.
  • NEW for 2026 – All Catastrophic and Bronze level plans will qualify for HSA contributions. This will allow you to use pre-tax money to pay for out-of-pocket medical costs.
